Message: This weekend a friend an I were out taking a hike in the Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area in Southern California when we saw this large, unidentified machine rolling along over the rocks and sand. It had a strange looking sail in front, and a tent-like structure in the middle. It was emitting this weird humming pulse and a type of laser was coming out of the side and appeared to be scanning the ground.
I got out my binoculars to take a closer look, but couldn't seen any one in or near the thing. I was really afraid, the things just seemed creepy, so I didn't try to get any closer and I hurriedly left the area.
